BALJAFFRAYThe Church service at Baljaffray will take place this Sunday at the normal time of 9.30 a.m. with Bible Class, Sunday School and creche for the children. All will be made most welcome. Baljaffray BulletinThe cut-off date for items for the November edition of the Baljaffray Bulletin is Sunday 23rd October. Please give any items to Christine McLeod by that date. Thank you. Fair Trade RiceWe will be selling Kilombero Fair Trade rice again this Sunday after the service. The rice is Fairly Traded and we have both white and brown varieties. The proceeds from the sale of our 90kg of rice will enable a farmer to send one of his children to secondary school for the year. Guild MeetingOn Monday 17th October 7.30p.m., the speaker will be Douglas Keith from Paisley who will talk about and show slides of 'The Clyde'. David is an excellent speaker and the slides are marvellous. This should be a most enjoyable evening so please do join us. Sausages, Shoeboxes and SparklersOn Sunday 6th November from 4.00p.m. we will be filling shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Last year we managed to fill 181 boxes and had great fun doing so. Come along on the 6th November and help with this year's appeal in the following way:- Bring empty shoe boxes. Church DanceThe Social Team are holding a Dance in the Bearsden Bowling Club on Saturday 26th November for all those of you who are interested in attending please add your name to the list on the notice board or speak to Liz Linley or Joyce McNae. Finally, if you hear of a Church member who is unwell please pass this information to your elder or June Richardson.
