Welcome to the Association of Bearsden Churches - ABC!

Holy Week Services 2008:
at St Andrew's Church on Monday 7.30pm
at New Kilpatrick Parish Church Tuesday-Friday 7.30pm

ABC exists to promote church unity in the Bearsden area.

We do this by facilitating joint ventures such as worship events, debates/discussions on topical issues, social events and charitable work. By working together in this way we hope to encourage co-operation and understanding among different denominational groups, whilst also celebrating and learning about the diversity of ways in which people can approach Christianity. We also hope that our joint Christian witness will encourage others to move closer towards Christ and a Christian way of life.

Baljaffray Chooses New Minister

On Sunday 1st March 2008, Dr Ian McEwan preached as sole nominee for the post of minister of Baaljaffray Parish Church. Afterwards he was elected as our new minister by an overwhelming majority, and we enjoyed meeting him and his wife Edith afterwards. This marks the end of the labours of the nominating committee, and our interim moderator, the Rev Fiona Maxwell, thanked the 9 members for all their hard work over the past year. The service of Ordination and Induction will take place on Thursday 1st May 2008 at Baljaffray Parish Church.

World Day of Prayer

St Andrew's Parish Church

 Commencing 4th February Faith Sharing Groups will be meeting during the six weeks of Lent.
